Jessica Thompson
Bio
Jessica Thompson is an attorney at PSKE whose practice includes both asbestos defense and plaintiff-side personal injury litigation. As a member of the firm’s toxic tort practice, she represents premises owners and manufacturers in asbestos litigation.
On the plaintiff side, Jessica represents people injured in car accidents of every kind, from collisions caused by drunk, distracted, or reckless drivers, to rear-end, head-on, multi-vehicle, hit-and-run, and uninsured-motorist crashes. She also represents families pursuing wrongful death claims after fatal accidents. Beyond motor vehicle cases, her personal injury work extends to premises liability claims, such as slip-and-fall and dog bite injuries. After law school, Jessica served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Edgar W. Dickson and the Honorable Heath P. Taylor, Circuit Court Judges for South Carolina’s First Judicial Circuit. She then practiced at a local plaintiff’s firm, where she built a strong foundation in personal injury and workers’ compensation, before joining PSKE in 2025. Her experience in chambers and on the plaintiff side informs her approach to both halves of her practice.
A native of Summerville, South Carolina, Jessica earned her undergraduate degree in English, with a concentration in writing, from the University of South Carolina. She received her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2021, where she served as an editing member of the South Carolina Law Review.
