Carl E. Pierce, III (Trey) is a Charleston native. He received his undergraduate degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (B.S., 2016), where he was a member of the football team, Beta Gamma Sigma (Business Honors Society), and Tau Beta Pi (Engineering Honors Society). After college, Trey attended the University of South Carolina School of Law (J.D., 2019). Trey clerked for Bill Smith and Mark Arden at Chappell, Smith, and Arden before joining Pierce, Sloan, Kennedy & Early LLC in 2019. Trey is a member of the South Carolina Bar, and his areas of practice include personal injury, premises liability, product liability, and asbestos defense.
