Kristen Bates Fehsenfeld

Kristen Bates Fehsenfeld joined Pierce, Sloan, Kennedy & Early LLC in 2010, after completing a two-year clerkship at the South Carolina Court of Appeals under the Honorable Daniel F. Pieper. While there, she worked on a vast array of complex civil and criminal cases and presently focuses her practice in civil litigation and brief writing.
Kristen received her B.A. from the College of Charleston in 2003, graduating magna cum laude. She earned her J.D. from the Charleston School of Law in 2007, where she served as copy editor of the Maritime Law Journal and as a Student Bar Association committee chair. During her third year, she participated in a summer program studying international commercial arbitration in Linz, Austria, and completed an internship with The Honorable David C. Norton of the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. Kristen is also a recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Research and Writing.
