Christie was born in Vero Beach, Florida on December 10, 1984. She graduated with distinction from the Florida State University at an accelerated three-year pace. After college, Christie attended the Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, one of the only schools in the nation to offer both a civil law and common law curriculum.
While in law school, Christie was active in the Hurricane Katrina Clinic, the Trial Advocacy Program, the Association for Women Law Students and the Family Law Clinic. Christie spent one summer studying comparative law at the University of Vienna, Austria, School of Law. Upon graduating from law school, Christie moved to Charleston, South Carolina. She has been with the firm since 2010.
